Reformis, the international business transformation consultancy, has appointed Tom Cunningham as Head of its new UK Advisory Practice.

Cunningham, who joins from IHS Markit, is tasked with developing the new service, enhancing the Reformis offering as a strategic partner and adviser.

Taking up his role with immediate effect, Cunningham will be based in Reformis’ London City office, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Brian Woodham.

Brian Woodham said: “Reformis has a strong reputation on the buy-side of the asset management sector as a deliverer of business transformation and technology consulting. Following our 2018 rebrand and new management team, we’ve positioned the business for growth. Part of that growth will come from enhancing our strategic advisory consultancy services. In addition to implementing solutions, we want to partner with clients on a more holistic basis, developing strategies and designing solutions for what is an increasingly complex regulatory and trading environment.

Tom Cunningham is a highly experienced and credible leader of strategic & technology-driven projects. His insight, clear thinking and blue-chip background make him the ideal candidate to launch our strategy offering to the market.”

Tom Cunningham said: “I’ve known the team at Reformis for many years and have first-hand knowledge of their services. They’re a highly experienced group of people who’ve built a strong reputation for delivering. I’m excited to be joining them to begin this new phase of the company’s development.

We’ve ambitious plans for our Advisory offering. I’m building a new team and will be looking to make a series of hires this year.”

Most recently Chief Operating Officer of IHS Markit’s investment management platform thinkFolio, Cunningham has also held the roles of Chief Technology Officer for Jupiter Fund Management and Head of Front Office Technology & Change for Threadneedle Asset Management.
